Your onboarding has a score. Most founders never see it.

Upload your signup flow. FlowScore rates every screen against six behavioral-science principles and hands you fixes you can ship this week — with the exact copy to use.

The science

Signups don't leave because your UI is ugly — they leave because it fights their psychology. Every screen in your flow gets scored 0–10 against six research-backed principles.

Smart
Defaults

Blank forms are stacks of decisions. Most users stick with a default when you offer one — so offer one on every field.

Goal
Gradient

People finish faster the closer they feel to done. Never start a user at 0% — count something they've already completed.

Reciprocity

Give real value before you ask for email, invites, or payment. A gift creates a debt; a wall creates a bounce.

Ownership &
Endowment

Users who make something theirs before the signup ask can't leave without abandoning it. Choices, names, and built things all count.

Loss
Aversion

Losing something hurts twice as much as gaining it feels good. Frame commitment moments around what's at stake — honestly.

No number is big or small on its own. Control what users see first, and every price after it changes meaning.

Proof

We ran FlowScore on Asana's account-setup flow — one of the best product teams in SaaS scored a C+. Real, specific findings, and credit for what they get right. Read it before you trust us with yours.

Two choice screens with zero defaults — and a disabled Continue button blocking momentum.

Read finding

Teammate invite asked for 3 emails before the user saw any value — reciprocity inverted.

How it works

From screenshots to shipped fixes in four steps — and uploading already counts as step 01. goal gradient · never start at zero

Drop in 3–10 screenshots of your onboarding — web or mobile. No integration, no snippet, no account. If it renders on a screen, we can score it.
Each screen is analyzed against the six principles. Every finding cites what's visibly on your screen — a blank field, a disabled button, an unlabeled bar. No generic advice.
The full audit includes key rewritten copy, default-state changes, and a roadmap sorted by impact × effort — so the top item ships today, not next quarter.
Every full audit includes a free re-scan within 30 days. Ship the fixes, upload the new screens, and get the before/after delta on your score.

Questions founders ask

What if my onboarding is behind a login or in a mobile app?

That's exactly why we take screenshots instead of a URL. Screen-record or screenshot your flow on any platform — web, iOS, Android — and upload the images. No integration required.

How is this different from Hotjar or session recordings?

Recordings show you where users drop; they don't tell you why, or what to change. FlowScore diagnoses the psychology of each screen and hands you the specific fix — including the rewritten copy.

Are the recommendations generic AI advice?

Every finding must cite something visibly on your screen — a blank field, a disabled button, an unlabeled progress bar. If it can't point at pixels, it doesn't go in your report. Read the Asana sample and judge for yourself.

What if the report isn't useful?

Full refund within 14 days, no questions. You'll have seen your free score and the sample report before paying, so you know exactly what you're buying.
